Here at PolarSounds Entertainment, we are proud to have a customer base that is made up primarily of people who have hired PolarSounds in the past, have attended an event where PolarSounds provided the entertainment, or have been specifically referred to us by other vendors or past clients.
Even though most of our customers have had past exposure to our services, there are questions that regularly arise. If you have a question that is not on this list, please contact our offices at 790-8535 and we will be happy to answer them for you.
What sort of music do you play?
What's your preference? PolarSounds brings
several thousand songs to every event. See the song list or
the music video
list in Excel format.
Your song list didn't have our song. Does that mean we can't hear it?
PolarSounds' song list lists only
a portion of the songs that are in our collection. If there is a song that you want to hear that is not on the list, please let us know. We may already have it. If not, most songs can be located, ordered, and received at no additional charge to the client. PolarSounds asks that all special requests be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event.
How do we know that you are the right DJ for our event?
Consultations are free and highly encouraged. This allows each party to decide whether or not PolarSounds is the right entertainment choice for a given event. If there are special circumstances that would make another entertainer more appropriate, you will receive a referral to that entertainer.
We want PolarSounds for our event. How do we reserve a date?
Dates are reserved upon receipt of a signed contract and a 50% retaining fee. A contract may be requested by calling PolarSounds' office. All services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
What happens if our DJ doesn't show?
PolarSounds' owner, Eric Caldwell, is the sole operator for the company. Throughout his long career, only one event did not start on time. In that instance, a mountain pass along his travel route was blocked off by an overturned semi truck. The truck had caught fire and was, in fact, still burning as Eric drove home from the completed event. That one began five minutes late. The odds are very good that your DJ will be at the event and on time.
Are there any hidden fees?
Only the local 5% sales tax on goods and services. PolarSounds' rates are clearly listed on this website and cover up to four hours of performance time. Overtime is available at an additional charge. Consultations, set-up, and takedown are all included in your rate.
